Ustad Sarahang spent a lot of time in his life in India where he received his musical education and also worked during two years at All India Radio before the partition. Following these years his popularity was the same in Afghanistan as in India as he also participated in many conferences around India.

This LP was released in 1970, one year before the 45 rpm we already published on this website. He is interpreting three beautiful Ragas including this one below the picture sleeve. Both others are available on the YouTube channel (see in the bottom of the page).
