Ustad Sarahang – Javo Javo Saiyan
We knew that in 1970, a beautiful LP of Ustad Mohammad Hussain Sarahang (written Sar-Auhang by Indian people) was released in India by the Gramophone Company of India Limited under the HMV label. After a few researchs, it seems that this LP didn’t contain the only recordings of Ustad Sarahang that took place in India.
On this rare 45 rpm, Ustad Sarahang is accompanied by a different tabla player than the one playing on the 33 rpm, which probably means that songs were recorded during different sessions, although this ep was released only one year after.

We hope that some others surprises like this ep are yet to be discovered.
